Clear and itemised — no hidden charges, ever.
These are the only payments permitted under the Tenant Fees Act 2019. If a fee we are charging is not on this list, it is a prohibited payment.
Tenant fees
The only payments we may charge in connection with a tenancy:
Landlord fees
All landlord fees are inclusive of VAT.
Management
A management fee of 10% inclusive of VAT of the monthly rent. The fee is deducted monthly as and when the rent is due, subject to the rent being paid by the tenant.
E.g. Monthly rent agreed £1,000.00 → Management fee deduction £100.00 inclusive of VAT.
Introduction / Let only
A one-off payment of 3 weeks fee charged on the monthly rent. This is inclusive of VAT.
E.g. Monthly rent agreed £1,000.00 → Introduction fee £693.00 inclusive of VAT.
Termination during management
If the landlord decides to terminate the management agreement but would like to keep the tenants, a termination fee of 10% of the annual rent is charged prior to termination.
E.g. Monthly rent agreed £1,000.00 → Termination fee £1,200.00 inclusive of VAT.
